Welcome to the landing page for resources for the UCU Marking and Assessment Boycott (MAB).
In our first meeting about successfully organising a MAB, we discussed the importance of three steps and began complilling the resources below:
- Mapping the marking and assessment process at a departmental level. This means understanding when the different steps happen and how degree progression operates.
- Raising money for strike funds. This means raising money in the branch, as well as pressuring UCU nationally to release funds.
- How to collectively support each other without the picket lines of a strike. This means regular meetings at the departmental level and thinking of other ways to support each other.
