Last summer, after 11 years of struggle, workers forced SOAS to bring all outsourced staff in-house by next September. While this victory was groundbreaking, the process threatens to place workers in a vulnerable position, with fights still to be waged over pay, overtime and casualisation, among other issues. In this context and with the upcoming UCU strike, workers and supporters decided to launch a university-wide bulletin which we republish below. SOAS Justice for Workers are showing the importance of permanent organisation and struggle, neither of which can end after workers are brought in-house.
